6月の初めに、Horweenのコードバンの価格改訂(値上げ)についての告知が、アメリカの革屋さんから届きました。

具体的にはこのような内容です。

7月1日以後に購入するコードバンについては
一枚当たりの価格が、これまでより+5〜9%ほど値上げとなります。

革のサイズが大きいほどその分値上げも大きくなります。

• 財布、小物など

いま手元にある革で製作が可能な限りは、これまで通り価格の変更はありません。
(9月頃に改めて検討の予定です)

• 鞄

鞄のように複数枚の革の手配が必要な製品は、7月以降のご注文については若干の価格改訂を行う予定です。
(革の在庫状況を見ながら、改めてご案内します)

もし、鞄や大きめの製品をご検討の場合は、6/24ごろまでにご連絡をいただければと思います。
早急に革の手配が可能かどうかを確認します！

At the beginning of June, I received a notice about a price increase for Horween shell cordovan.

Here's what it says

For cordovan purchased after July 1st, the price per piece will increase by 5-9% over the previous price.

The larger the size of the shell, the larger the price increase will be.

So, I am thinking as follows.

• Wallets and small items

The prices of wallets and small items will remain unchanged as long as I can make them with the shell I have on my shelf.
(I will consider this again around September.)

• Bags

For products such as Tote or Kinchaku, that require multiple pieces of shell, I plan to slightly revise the price for orders placed after July 1st.
(I will announce this again while keeping an eye on the availability of the shell.)

If you are considering a Tote or larger items, please contact me by around June 24th.
I'll check if I can arrange for shells ASAP!
